My story on how I hired a hitman in Indonesia
Today I would like to share my experience of why I decided to hire a hitman when I lived in Indonesia. I will also explain why I had to flee my country. I was receiving some very strong threats and was almost killed. Unfortunately, the authorities in my country could not help me in any way.
It all started when at the end of November 2024 we received anonymous calls extorting us. It was a very ugly experience because they told us that if we did not pay the equivalent of 15,000 USD they would kill us. We never reported anything to the police since the authorities never do anything.
I knew that since those calls were to our landline, the number of the caller could not be seen. Therefore, I knew that they would not be able to do anything to help us, so we decided to disconnect our telephone line to see if things would change.
WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED AT THE BEGINNING
At the beginning of January I heard my neighbor talk about some people in our area organizing a blockade of the Pacheco highway, which is close to the capital Jakarta. The blockade had been organized to persuade the government to make the country more secure. I informed myself well about the name of the person and his address and decided to go see him to meet him in person at his home.
When I arrived at his house I felt a little embarrassed to go knock on his door so I left a note at the foot of his door. The note said that I would be interested in knowing more about the project and I left my name and phone number.
On January 17, 2017, this man called me to invite me to his house. I accepted the invitation and went to see him and in that meeting he explained to me well his mission of planning a blockade of the highway. However, he made it clear to me that he had already written to several government entities where he told them that the blockade would only be carried out if they did not combat organized crime.
The deadline was February 12th. So if the government was not going to make drastic reforms by that date, the road would be blocked. At that point I explained to him why he was doing that and he told me it was because he was tired of seeing bodies appearing in the streets and because there are more and more kidnappings and they are afraid to go out. He made me understand that it seemed unfair to him that his children were growing up in this type of environment.
SOCIAL UNREST IS A COMMON ISSUE IN INDONESIA
I told him that I also thought the same and I told him that I would like to be part of the project. He told me that it was not a problem, that as a foreigner I could demand security, political stability and, above all, that the cartels be removed from the city. It is worth mentioning that most of the problems are due to these criminal groups that operate without anyone saying anything.
At that point I asked him if I could be his right-hand man and he said yes, but he made me understand that whether I am with them or not, it really makes no difference. At that point I told him that I could, for example, make announcements on social media about the event and distribute flyers to announce the event. That man told me that this was an excellent idea since the people around him are simple people who are not used to entering social media.
He also told me that if I could talk to businessmen to raise funds to bring food supplies to distribute to people on the day of the blockade, that would be great. I told him yes, that I would talk to business friends to raise funds. Before finishing our meeting that day, he told me that the planned date for the road strike was February 12, if the Mexican government does not make drastic changes.
PROBLEMS PUSHED ME TO HIRE A HITMAN
On January 26th I went to Mike’s house to give him the money I was able to raise for the event and he was very grateful. He told me that he has two other people who have been supporting him and they were only able to raise 400 USD between the two of them. I asked him if he had already started to distribute the flyers and if I had made my announcements on social media. I told him that I was working on that and that I would soon have news about it.
He also confided to me that he is paid by the party which is an opposition party to the current party. According to him, if they won the next elections, he will make sure that they give me a good job. I told him that I really did it because I really want to do something for Mexico. If we all put in a little effort, things can change and the country can improve. I was a little disappointed that he is being pushed by a political party since I thought that it was a priority for him.
On February 3rd, I started distributing flyers to promote the march with the help of my wife. We went to various areas of the city of Monterrey and Guadalajara. We made 3,000 flyers and distributed them all in one weekend. In that flyer I mentioned about the road blockade we were planning and the mission. I also mentioned the movement, which, by the way, was called Punto A Favor. I only put my name and also put my cell phone number there in case any kind of information was required.
THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY HAD CONTACTS WITH PROFESSIONAL HITMEN
On February 8th, I also posted an article on Facebook where I explained the same thing I mentioned in the flyers. That article was very successful, as it received around 25,000 likes and 3,300 shares in less than 3 days of posting it. On February 9th, I received an anonymous call saying that they were from a criminal group called Cartel del Golfo.
In the threats they said that they have a couple of hitmen who live on Hidalgo Street, which is located right behind our street, and he told me that if I didn’t cancel the plan they were going to kill me. They said that they need traffic on that road because if we block it, they will kill them since they have an order from an anonymous boss.
When I hung up with the man, I quickly called the manager. He told me that they had just called him and told him the same thing that they told me and he told me that he was not going to go to the police because they are incompetent. He says that they told him that he looked out the window and there was a black car with two people inside and he said that he looked and saw two men in a black car. He told me that he was going to pack his bags and go out of the city for a couple of days. He was going to climb out of the roof of his house to his neighbor’s house and from there he was going to go to the city of Hermosillo.
I STARTED TO LIVE WITH A LOT OF ANXIETY
However, I decided to go to the police station to file a complaint, or we can say that I went and they didn’t let me file a complaint. That’s when I decided to contact several hitmen from Mexico to hire the best one among them. I just asked for prices and told them that I would contact them again.
On February 11th, I heard from a neighbor that the person in charge was missing. When I heard the news, I called him, but his phone was off. I decided to grab my things, and together with my family, we went to the city of Puebla. On February 12th, we received a call from the same neighbor to tell me to check the newspaper and website.

That same night I received a call from the same man saying the following: “We had warned your boss that if he didn’t stop his plans we were going to kill him. We are protected and we can do what we want. The entire police and prosecutor’s office are with us.
They are well warned that if they are not with us they will live in absolute terror. I know you are not at home, but wherever you go, even if you return home, we will find you. We have contacts as far south as Mexico and down to Panama. We will find you, you will see.
On February 12th at 11:50 PM I went to the police station in the downtown neighborhood to file a complaint. There they let me file a complaint. They told me that they would send a patrol to watch my area every 3 hours to make sure I was okay.
WE CONTACTED THE HITMAN TO DO THE DIRTY WORK
After leaving the police station we returned to our house. I went straight to the balcony to see if it was true that they were going to come by. Even though I stayed there from 1 AM to 5 AM and noticed that they did not come by even once.
I did not sleep that night, but when my wife woke up on February 13 at 8 AM I told her that it would be good if we contacted the hitmen we had contacted again. We chose one of them who looked very professional. That hitman said his name was Don Pepe and was from Indonesia. The hitman did the job and killed those people who threatened us. Once they did the job of killing those people, our lives changed and now we are much calmer.
